About Bill About Mary

YOU are welcome to join the Trackmen Golf Club (TGC) as we tee-off our 25th season in 2017. Founded in 1992 with just 42 members, the TGC has grown to its present day roster of 110 prominent thoroughbred horsemen, racing fans and Joe the Plumbers. The TGC conducts 4-6 tournaments per year at very select golf courses. We tee up in South Florida during the winter racing season; Long Island, NY, in the spring and fall and in upstate NY during the July/August Saratoga Racing season. TGC'ers enjoy a diversified membership, handicapping contests, social functions, calcuttas, discounted professional services from fellow TGC members, a free copy of the TGC Business to Business Directory, TGC New York and Florida Horsemen Dining Guides, eligibility to participate in the Trackmen Racing Stables and most importantly - Great Golf!

The TGC has annual dues of $100, and all members contend for the year-end bonus pool of $1,000. In each tournament, individual winners are awarded 7 Points to 1st Place, 5 Points to 2nd, 3 Points to 3rd and 1 Point to all players, including the top three. These points are carried over through all 10 tournaments and at year's end, the 2 highest point earners split the bonus pool: $600 goes to the winner with $400 to second.

The format for all tournaments is 2 Best Balls per Foursome Low Net. We establish A, B, C and D foursome players by handicap. There are Cash & Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed foursomes, the first 3 individual placings, as well as closest-to-pin, longest and straightest drive and putting contest winners. TGC outings usually include lunch, green fees, carts, halfway-house refreshments and cocktails/hors d'oeuvres after golf. Most TGC tournaments are conducted on Tuesdays, which are non-racing (dark) days.

The TGC affords its members the luxury of playing some of the most prestigious golf courses in New York and Florida. We hope you consider this exclusive offer to join us as we prepare for yet another year of great golf and camaraderie within our membership.

Sincerely, Bill Hirsch
